Lauryn has always loved a pop of red, and you can see that from her past trips to Eden Rock – St Barths – the clothes, accessories. A red ice roller and mouth tape were always part of the plan, then this collaboration came up and it was the perfect time to introduce a red collection. 

As a fan of all Oetker properties and visiting them over the last 12 years, Lauryn especially fell in love with the Eden Rock – St Barths branding, the stripes specifically. Lauryn even sent our design team pictures of branded items from her trip there over a year ago. 

For The Skinny Confidential, partnering with Eden Rock – St Barths wasn’t about creating something new. It was about refining what was already there. We care about the same details, the same rituals, the same standard.

Not every partnership makes sense. This one did.

Integrating the signature red and stripes of the hotel into The Skinny Confidential products and packaging was fluid and cohesive, but done with intention and the utmost care. From the specific red to the spacing of the stripes, every single detail was considered. 

The collaboration originally included the ice roller and mouth tape, but deserved a full travel ritual, so the travel pack of Face Towels was a natural choice to complete the collection. 

It was important to embody the ‘feel’ of being at Eden Rock – St Barths and capture the iconic glamour of the hotel. Once Lauryn defined the campaign’s vision, the team translated it through packaging, product and visual execution.
