Alan Ritchson‘s Reacher co-star is defending him.

Agnez Mo, who joins the cast of the Prime Video series for its upcoming fourth season as his on-screen love interest, says she’s “on his side.”

The 39-year-old actress and singer talked to Page Six on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet earlier this week and said that she had spoken with Alan since the fight happened last weekend.

Since video footage of the fight went viral, police have determined that the actor was acting in self-defense and will not face charges.

Agnez said that the neighbor, Nashville resident Ronnie Taylor, “probably didn’t realize” that Alan was wearing a bodycam.

“But to be honest with you, I’ve had enough with people always trying to blame the celebrity or the artist,” she told the outlet. “And yes, there are some people who are a–holes, but I don’t think Alan is one of them.”

She went on to say that her 43-year-old castmate is “the sweetest person” and “super respectful.”

Agnez continued, “So when that thing came out, I always felt like there must be more [to the] story. So then obviously when the bodycam [footage] came out, it was just… you know.”

Alan also posted a video recently that seemed to address the fight and its aftermath.
