Savannah Guthrie received a call from President Donald Trump amid the ongoing search for her mother and some details from the call have been released.

Trump made the call after he previously spoke out about the situation during a press conference.

“I think it’s a terrible thing. I always got along very good with Savannah… very unusual situation, but we’re going to find out,” he previously said.

Now, NBC News confirms that Trump did chat with Savannah.

Trump “assured the Guthrie family that every resource was available as needed.”
