Alyssa Farah Griffin was absent from the latest episode of The View… for a good reason!

The 36-year-old co-host missed the February 10 episode of The View as she went into labor that morning, Whoopi Goldberg announced on Tuesday morning.

Whoopi told the audience, “I don’t know if you saw the show yesterday, but it turned out Alyssa was right about Bad Bunny’s halftime show putting her into labor. It put her into labor! She’s at the hospital right now! And we are wishing her the best as she waits for her baby boy to arrive.”

Joy Behar joked, “Will she name the baby Bunny? She should name the baby Bunny.”

Sunny Hostin chimed in that she should name the baby “Benito,” which is the rapper’s real name. Joy then joked that she should name it “Bunito,” but Sunny clarified that “Benito” is his actual name.

Whoopi added, “Yes, you know, when you explain the joke, it really does… stand all over the joke.”

This is the first child for Alyssa and her husband Justin Griffin. She said that her pregnancy took five rounds of IVF.
