Model Ameni Esseibi shares her morning to evening beauty routine.

Talk us through your morning routine.
The first thing I do when I wake up is probably what everyone else does—I check my phone. Then I wash my face, do my morning skincare, and spend a few minutes in front of the mirror giving myself a little pep talk. I always try to hype myself up for the day, especially if I have a busy schedule ahead, because I’m definitely not a morning person. Mornings don’t come naturally to me, so that little moment really helps. I’m also not someone who can eat a big breakfast. I genuinely don’t know how people do it! I usually keep it light with coconut water or a smoothie. I’m a huge smoothie person. Then I’m ready to get on with my day.
How does your evening routine differ?
My evening routine is completely different from my mornings. It’s actually my favorite part of the day because it’s when I get to slow down and reconnect with myself. A big part of my evenings is always horseback riding. Horses are such a huge part of my life, so spending time at the stable, riding, and being around them is my way of switching off and escaping from the craziness of the day. After I finish work and get back home, I love creating little self-care moments for myself. I’ll usually do a sheet mask, put on my LED mask, make myself a peppermint tea, and relax while watching my Turkish series. I love those quiet moments where I can just unwind, take care of myself, and enjoy my evening.
What are your go-to skincare products?
My everyday go-tos are the Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum and Vinopure Toner, along with the Sunday Riley Good Genes Serum and Auto Correct Eye Cream for that extra glow and hydration. I also love the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum, La Roche-Posay Cicaplast SPF 50 for protecting and soothing my skin, and little essentials like Cure Beauty Pimple Patches and the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I’m also obsessed with the luxurious feel of the Guerlain Abeille Royale Sérum.
Are you a fan of masks?
I love the Caudalie Detox Mask and Peeling Mask, but I’m also always reaching for sheet masks like Biodance, Dr. Jart+, Medicube, and Torriden.
How would you describe your approach to makeup?
My approach to makeup is honestly just about enhancing what’s already there. I love playing with makeup, but I’m not trying to change who I am or create a completely different version of myself.
What can always be found in your makeup bag?
For skincare, I prep my skin with Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, Magic Cream, and Magic Eye Rescue. For complexion, I start with their Hollywood Flawless Filter. I also never travel without my Make Up For Ever HD Skin Face Essentials Palette because it literally does everything. Mascara is another category I switch up a lot. I love NARS Climax Mascara and Fenty Beauty Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara. I always have Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Lips Healthy Glow Nectar Oil, Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb, Huda Beauty glosses, MAC glosses, and Asteri Beauty glosses in my bag.
Which fragrances are your current favourites?
When it comes to fragrances, I’m definitely someone who believes that a scent can become part of your identity. My current favourites are a mix of sweet, sensual, and more mysterious fragrances depending on my mood. I’m obsessed with Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle Le Parfum and Scandal Eau de Parfum because they have that confident, feminine energy that I love. I also love Kayali Tobacco Oud and Déjà Vu for their unique and addictive notes, along with the elegance of Guerlain Santal Royal and the beautiful richness of Parfums de Marly Delina Exclusif. I love fragrances that feel memorable, luxurious, and leave a little bit of mystery behind.
What is the most unusual item in your makeup bag?
I always have multiple mini perfumes because I feel like your fragrance depends on your mood, your outfit, and your energy that day.
