American Idol season 24 contestants Brooks Rosser and Rae Boyd are dating!

The relationship reveal happened live on stage during the April 20 episode of the ABC music competition show… and it came as a surprise to Brooks!

After Brooks performed during the Top 9 episode, which was dubbed Disney Night, Rae came out on stage to make the big announcement that they’re a couple in real life.

“Well, somebody is here to surprise you. She’s very excited. Former finalist, Rae! One of the biggest fans of Brooks has come back,” Ryan said.

After Rae came on stage and gave Brooks a huge hug, Ryan asked, “Is there something you want to tell us, Rae?”

“Um, the princess is here to claim her prince,” Rae said with a wink. Ryan added, “Apparently, Rae said this is a hard launch for the two of you, so congratulations. You never know what comes out of American Idol.”

Brooks definitely looked shocked and surprised that they were going public with the relationship!

Rae was voted off the show last week after performing in the Top 11 episode.
