Ana de Armas and Jennifer Connelly are looking to star in an upcoming new spy series!

The two actresses are reportedly in negotiations to lead the cast of Apple TV‘s new series Safe Houses from Homeland writer Gideon Raff, per Deadline.

Gideon is also set to serve as showrunner and executive producer for the eight-episode series, which will be based on the Dan Fesperman novel of the same name, which is “an international espionage thriller set in the aftermath of the killing of a high-ranking CIA officer in Madrid.”

Safe Houses will center on “Sofia Jiménez (de Armas), a fugitive agent accused of the crime, and Ambassador Elizabeth Winthrop (Connelly), his widow, as they each investigate the murder from opposite sides, unraveling a vast conspiracy that could upend the balance of global power.”

It was also recently announced that Ana will be starring as a fitness influencer in an upcoming new movie!
