Anna Faris is opening up about her “religious” son Jack.

If you didn’t know, the 49-year-old Spa Weekend actress shares her 14-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Pratt.

While appearing on Chelsea Handler‘s Dear Chelsea podcast, Anna talked about having deep conversations with Jack.

“He’s as solid as a tugboat, emotionally,” Anna said. “He just doesn’t get easily jarred. He handles situations really well.”

After noting that Jack is “religious,” Chelsea asked Anna about her own feelings on religion.

“I didn’t grow up with religion,” the Scary Movie actress explained. “He’s asked me to accept Jesus Christ … I told him that I would do anything for him, including this, but it’s still going to take a whole lot of long conversations.”

Anna went on to call the teenager “impressive,” admitting that she’s “tried to challenge him” on certain ideas.

“I’m like, ‘Do you think it’s a luxury that you get to be pro-life? Do you think that’s kind of a luxury?’ He’s like, ‘Maybe,’” Anna said. “Or I’ll say, ‘So what do you think of this megapastor that’s kind of a grifter? What do you think?’ He’s like, ‘Oh, megapastors are the worst.’ So it’s like, ‘OK, we’re getting there.’”

She continued, “I’m appreciative that he’s examining religion the way he is in terms of recognizing hypocrisy, starting to recognize hypocrisy. And I’m appreciative that we can have these long conversations.”

Chris, 47, has been very open about his faith, and in an interview from 2022, he spoke about inadvertently becoming “the face of religion.”
