The new record will be available as a Standard (1CD) version, which includes a sticker and a member solo trading card (1 of 8 types, randomly enclosed.) In addition to the previously released tracks, fans can anticipate five new songs: “Ash,” “12 Midnight,” “Tippy Toes,” “FACE,” and “Crescendo.” ATEEZ’s first Japanese album, Into the A to Z, was released in March 2021 and peaked at number six on Japan’s Oricon Albums Chart.

Ashes to Light will arrive on the heels of major U.S. success for the Korean group. Back in November, their mini album “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2” reached number one on the Billboard 200, while this summer’s follow-up “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3” hit number two. Member Seonghwa told Billboard that their global success has broadened their horizons as artists: “I think it’s opened us up to more diversity,” he shared. “That kind of success gave us room to grow. It helped us take the next step and made us pay more attention to different genres and styles.”

As to what makes an ATEEZ song an ATEEZ song, member Yeosang added: “we don’t box ourselves into one genre. We’re always exploring different styles to show all sides of who we are. And it’s not just in the music—it’s in our performances too.”

The boy group recently performed alongside Kylie Minogue on the Apple TV+ competition series KPOPPED. As described by Apple, “the show brings together some of the biggest names in Western music and top K-pop idols for unexpected, high-energy reinterpretations of iconic hits.” Four out of eight ATEEZ members joined Minogue for a rendition of her pop classic “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” With new Korean lyrics and choreography, the ATEEZ/Minogue team understood the show’s assignment perfectly.
