Typically, on the weekend leading up to the Met Gala, celebrities tend to go a little quiet on the beauty front. And I get it—it makes sense to lie low right before you're about to potentially make a ton of headlines for a major makeup look, a seemingly impossible-to-maneuver manicure, or a sculptural hairstyle. But Ayo Edebiri had the fabulous audacity to debut a new look right before serving (no doubt in more ways than one) as a member of the host committee for tonight's big fashion event.

Edebiri was spotted at Tavern on the Green for the Saturday Night Live afterparty, looking like her habitually stylish self, wearing an all-black ensemble that included a mini dress, leather jacket, and low-heeled Mary Jane slingbacks. In fact, the only thing she wore that wasn't a dark hue was her hair.

Although Edebiri spent most of April sporting deep shades of auburn-tinged brunette in a trendy bob, this weekend found her switching things up with waist-length waves in a stunning shade of deep honey blonde. The side-parted style gives us a peek at dark roots that add a lived-in dimension to the look.
