Coffee, Diet Coke, and the Belif Aqua Bomb Eye Gel have more in common than you’d think. Not only do I hoard them all like they’re going out of stock (never know with the state of things these days), but they’re also all packed with caffeine to instantly jolt me and my undereyes awake after late nights, long meetings, and puffy mornings.

And lately, I’ve been experiencing all of the above much more frequently, so I need the Holy Trinity (coffee, Diet Coke, this Belif eye serum) like never before.

Here’s how I use it: After washing my face in the morning (usually in the shower) and applying my prescription topicals, I go in with my eye cream. Because this is a tube rather than a small tub (my preference with undereye treatments—tubes are so much easier to use), I press the pump to distribute the lightweight gel, then gently press the ceramic tip to my undereye area.

And for the fun part: I lightly massage the applicator tip in a circular motion for at least a few seconds (it just feels so nice!), then pat in any excess product before moving on to my moisturizer and sunscreen.

Then, I repeat the entire process at night, minus the caffeinated drinks.
