Bella Hadid may not be an actor, but she's become a regular on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. For the last decade, the supermodel has served up some of the most glamorous looks, typically topped off with her long, dark hair in an elegant updo. In fact, the only appearance in which she wasn't a full-blown brunette was in 2019, when she was borderline-bronde. But it seems Hadid wanted to lighten up this time around, as she's been spotted around the French Riviera with the blondest shade we've seen on her in a very long time.

Hadid started posting snippets of her current Cannes trip on her Instagram Stories on Monday, May 12, the eve of the famous film festival, sharing a look at the view from her hotel room, her breakfast, and her glam team, but none of herself. Thankfully, photographers knew to anticipate her arrival and were able to let the world know that the Orebella founder had left her brunette ways behind in the U.S.

Hadid was seen outside Hotel Martinez smiling and waving at the crowd as she walked by in an all-white ensemble of jeans and a corset top. The fresh feeling of her outfit was shared with her hairstyle: a casual-yet-upscale, messy-yet-sophisticated twist with long, side-parted bangs in a sandy honey shade of blonde.
