Who says Benny Blanco didn’t win big at the Golden Globes?
The 36-year-old attended the awards show in Los Angeles Jan. 5 alongside fiancée Selena Gomez and, though he wasn’t nominated, he firmly believes he walked away as the night’s biggest winner.
As Benny—whose engagement to the Disney alum was announced in December—captioned a Jan. 6 TikTok of him and the double nominee getting ready, “i got to take home the best award of the night.”
In the clip, the music producer looked on as Selena, 32, posed for photos on a balcony overlooking the city while donning a custom off-the-shoulder, powder blue Prada gown and Tiffany diamond jewelry. (See all the red carpet fashion from the 2025 Golden Globes.)
“Woo, look at my girl!” Benny shouted as he zoomed in on the Emilia Pérez actress, to which Selena—who was nominated for both Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy and Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture at the event—broke from her stoic pose into a wide grin and chuckle.
And the laughter between the couple didn’t end there. In fact, the night’s host Nikki Glaser made a joke about the Only Murders in the Building star and Benny during her opening monologue, which prompted a hearty laugh.
"Selena Gomez is here—double-nominee tonight for Emilia Pérez and Only Murders. And she's here with her new fiancé Benny Blanco," Nikki said as the camera showed Benny leaning in to kiss Selena’s shoulder. "And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish. Man, lucky guy."
But Benny surely isn’t alone in feeling lucky. In E! News’ exclusive video from the Globes, Selena was spotted beaming with pride as she showed off her engagement ring to her Only Murders costar Martin Short, who held her left hand to get a closer look at the marquise-cut diamond ring.
