Bijou Phillips is currently in the hospital in Los Angeles.

The 45-year-old model has been hospitalized and is on dialysis while awaiting a kidney transplant, her rep Cade Hudson confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday (February 11).

Bijou is currently receiving the care at CORE Kidney at UCLA Health, and her rep says that she is in stable condition, but “time is of the essence.”

The model also took to Instagram, sharing her need for a new kidney.

Bijou previously received a kidney transplant in 2017 from a “dear friend,” but she has had “many complications since,” including the BK virus which led to a cellular and antibody rejection, she says.

She has reportedly suffered from kidney disease since birth, after being born with underdeveloped kidneys and spending the first three months of her life on dialysis in the NICU.
