Bill Murray is heading to Ireland for a new series, and he’s bringing some famous friends along for the ride!
The 76-year-old actor stars alongside bestselling author Tom Coyne in A Course Called Ireland, a six-part documentary series premiering Sunday (October 25) on Paramount+.
The show follows the two friends as they visit some of Ireland’s most famous golf courses, meet locals and explore the country’s culture.
However, it’s not just about golf!
The trip includes visits to local pubs, unexpected adventures and plenty of funny moments as Bill and his friends travel across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The series is inspired by Tom‘s bestselling book, A Course Called Ireland: A Long Walk in Search of a Country, a Pint, and the Next Tee.
Here’s everything you need to know about watching the new show.

When and where can you watch A Course Called Ireland?
A Course Called Ireland premieres Sunday, October 25, on Paramount+ in the United States.
All six episodes are expected to be available to stream together, rather than being released weekly.
Each episode runs approximately 30 minutes, meaning you can watch the entire series in about three hours.
You can find the series on the official Paramount+ streaming page.
Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the series through BBC iPlayer and BBC television instead.

Which celebrities appear in A Course Called Ireland?
Along with Bill Murray and Tom Coyne, several famous faces make appearances throughout the six episodes.
The confirmed guests include:
– Jason Kelce, former Philadelphia Eagles player and brother of Travis Kelce
– Chris O’Dowd, actor known for Bridesmaids and The IT Crowd
– Joanne McNally, Irish comedian and podcast host
– Joel Murray, Bill‘s brother and an actor
– John Murray, Bill‘s brother
The show gives viewers a chance to see the stars away from their usual work as they play golf, travel and spend time together.

Where was A Course Called Ireland filmed?
The documentary was filmed across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The group visits scenic golf courses, local businesses and pubs while exploring the country’s traditions.
The series is also a chance for Bill to reconnect with his Irish roots.

According to Paramount+’s official announcement, the show focuses just as much on the friendships and unexpected experiences as it does on the game of golf.
