Credit: GettyOne of the surprisingly funny moments in the new documentary You Can See Everything is when Billy Evans is seen at work… in a WeWork office building.
After Elizabeth Holmes goes to prison, the documentary flashes forward to two years later and gives insight into what Billy is up to while his partner serves her time.
Billy is shown working on the Theranos 2.0 idea and when he’s shown in an office, the camera pans out to reveal that the building is actually a WeWork shared space building. Audiences across the country are reporting that the moment has caused crowds to erupt in laughter.

Where is Billy Evans’ WeWork as seen in You Can See Everything?
Audiences on social media have noted that they recognize the WeWork location as the Barton Springs Rd. location in Austin, Texas.
The building features nearly 90,000 square feet of office space across nine floors. The location offers a full floor private office, private offices on shared floors, meeting rooms, and coworking space.
Why is it so funny?
Just like Theranos, WeWork is a company that had a dramatic run in Silicon Valley. The shared-workspace company collapsed after its failed IPO attempt in 2019. The company eventually filed for bankruptcy in 2023.
Seeing WeWork in a movie about the Theranos founder is extremely ironic.

— Jon Barr (@JonBarrTweets) October 19, 2026The funniest thing in the movie is when it shows Billy in an office building window, then zooms out to revel it’s a WeWork building https://t.co/pAYiLAWimd
— Mike LaPenta (@MikeLaPenta) October 18, 2026Anyone else yell when they showed Billy in the WeWork building?
— ?Dr. Tax Evasion? (@bimb0bagginss) October 18, 2026Starting an Oscar nom campaign for Adam Locke-Norton. The editing on You Can See Everything is brilliant. The visual punches just keep coming. When Billy makes a call in the WeWork building….it's not a shot everyone will catch, but the audience I saw it with got it immediately.
