Bravo has placed “The Real Housewives of Miami” on pause “at this very moment and for the foreseeable future,” a source has confirmed to Page Six.

An insider also tells us that the women of the show (Alexia Nepola, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Guerdy Abraira, Larsa Pippen, Stephanie Shojaee and friends Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura and Marysol Patton) were given a heads up before the news was delivered.

Though it is not the first time the series has been shelved, the network’s decision comes amid the show’s plummeting ratings.

The reality series — which concluded Season 7 with a bombshell three-part reunion in October 2025 — has long been among the least-watched of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchises.

Many Bravoholics speculated trouble might be brewing for the cast after it was reported that filming for Season 8 was expected to begin earlier this year, but hadn’t started yet.

“There is some chatter amongst those in the know that ‘RHOM’ is going to be canceled. There has been trouble with casting,” one source told Reality Blurb of the situation on Wednesday.

The insider told the outlet that the issue is due in part to Nepola and her ex-husband Todd’s $10 million defamation lawsuit against the show, which he filed in October.

“Some of the issues have to do with Alexia due to Todd’s lawsuit (which he filed and how Todd won’t be on the show,” they shared.

“Without Todd, her story would be more or less dead, and that would have an effect on the entire franchise.”

Todd filed to dismiss the suit with prejudice in December.

As for how long the series will be gone, a second insider shared that the break is “going to be a very long pause, which many are interpreting to mean the show is canceled.”

Multiple sources told Page Six earlier this month that production was looking to potentially recast and would possibly be giving Abraira and Lemigova the boot.

Another source told us that newcomer Shojaee also wasn’t thrilled to return for her sophomore season.

“RHOM” was previously put on ice by the network once before in 2013 following its third season.

Fans were shocked to learn that the then-beloved show would be making its surprise comeback as a Peacock Original in 2021 with a mix of fresh faces and OG cast members.

Seasons 6 and 7 both aired on Bravo, but the Miami iteration hasn’t been able to best its other “Real Housewives” competition.
