Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway
As breakfast evolves beyond cereal, food companies are seizing on the opportunity to bring the most important meal to other parts of the day, including lunch, dinner and even snacks. For years, Tony the Tiger was the king of breakfast cereal. But increasingly, breakfast cereal is giving way to handheld sandwiches and spreads as we ditch sugar-laden offerings in favor of portable options with more protein and other nutrients.
More people are turning to breakfast burritos, bowls and wraps, which are particularly well-suited for consumption outside of the morning. These items are portable and easy to prepare, but they also include eggs, meat and other ingredients loaded with in-demand nutrients.
What Breakfast Food is High in Protein?
A high-protein breakfast can keep you full longer and help manage weight while supporting muscle health. High-protein ingredients include Eggs, Greek yogurt, black beans, tofu, and cottage cheese. A protein smoothie is a customizable and nutritious breakfast option.
But breakfast foods are no longer just for breakfast. A change in eating habits is playing a major role in blurring the lines between breakfast and other meals. Mintel noted that 63% of breakfast eaters aged 18 to 34 are less likely than their older counterparts to eat a full meal in the morning, with younger consumers “substantially more likely” to prefer snacking.
Spreading out the opportunities
Bringing breakfast offerings to other eating occasions is a logical move for food companies because they can tap into familiar brands that consumers already trust. But sometimes, it takes effort to convince us that a product can be eaten at an unexpected time of day.
Following are a few options that are easy to make, can be stored for a few days and can be eaten on the run.
Breakfast Burrito
Breakfast Burritos are easy to make and so good! I like making these on my griddle with bacon, eggs, cheese, crispy crowns, and jalapeños, but you can really customize them to your liking! Quick enough for busy weekends or freeze-and-reheat for a grab-and-go breakfast all week long. See Recipe

Baked Oatmeal
This blueberry baked oatmeal is made with healthy ingredients—think fresh fruit, almond butter, and whole rolled oats—but it tastes like a treat. The top is toasty and nutty, featuring a layer of pecans and coconut flakes that crisp up beautifully in the oven. The middle, on the other hand, stays soft and creamy, filling each bite with an amazing mix of textures. It is a great weekend breakfast that can be used during the week for breakfast on the run or a morning snack. See Recipe
