Brenda Banwell is a pediatric neuroimmune specialist, director of the Department of Pediatrics, as well as pediatrician-in-chief and co-director of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. She specializes in and cares for patients with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), pediatric multiple sclerosis, and other conditions in which the immune system attacks the nervous system.
