Brianna LaPaglia is flying solo at the 2025 Golden Globes—and loving it.
Three months after her breakup with country singer Zach Bryan, the TikToker—who is also known as Brianna “Chickenfry” on social media—stepped out with BFF Josh Richards on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes Jan. 5, stunning in a bronze Maria Lucia Hohan gown. And while the 25-year-old proved that she was thriving in her single era at the 82nd Golden Globes, which is hosted by Nikki Glaser, she previously shared insight into her not-so-great experience attending last year’s awards show with Zach and her then-friend Grace O’Malley. In fact, she alleged that the “Something in the Orange” singer blatantly hated her outfit for the night.
"That was f--king crazy,” Brianna said on a November episode of her BFFs podcast. “That was the first time he had really tried to control what I wore and what I posted. So I went to the Golden Globes and I posted like a carousel of pictures, and he didn't like my dress."
And it seems Zach’s comments about her sheer gown with its dramatic leg slit took some of the fun out of her experience.
“He said he didn’t want to date someone that presents themselves that way,” she recalled. “He ruined my night. Everything good, anything good I did for me, he made sure to ruin it for me.”
After all, Brianna has always been open about the highs and lows she experienced with her ex, detailing the alleged abuse she suffered during their year-long relationship soon after their split.

"The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life," she told cohosts Dave Portnoy and Josh in a November episode of her podcast. "Dealing with the abuse from this dude—I'm still scared right now."
"He made me believe everything was my fault," she continued. "He isolated me from my whole entire life. He wouldn't let me be who I wanted to be. He made me hate everything that I loved about myself."
This year, Brianna left the negative energy behind her and enjoyed the 82nd Golden Globes alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Keep reading to see some of the most stunning red carpet looks…
