Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz‘s feud with his family has been making headlines for the past week and now their wedding planner is speaking out.

Some of the allegations that Brooklyn made against his family, including parents Victoria and David, stem from the couple’s April 2022 wedding.

Nearly four years after the star-studded wedding, the couple’s planner Preston Bailey is speaking out and explaining why it “surprises” him to see the drama unfold.

“It surprises me that he is taking this stand against his parents,” Preston told Page Six. “That’s not the Brooklyn I met as far as him being this nice, gentle guy. . . He was just a nice, regular person who would say hello and chit chat.”

Preston added, “I can tell you about my experience with Brooklyn. While we were planning, clearly as far as the details for the design, he was very much involved. I have always thought of him as a gentle, decent guy. There was never any tension.”

Preston also denied the allegations that Nicola was “controlling.”

“I don’t remember her being bossy. I remember a lot of affection between them,” he said. “Whatever design was done was presented to Nicola, but it was important for her to have Brooklyn approve it. She wasn’t going to do anything without his approval.”

The wedding DJ also spoke out to address the alleged “inappropriate” dance between Brooklyn and Victoria.
