Callum Turner and Margaret Qualley are teaming up for a new movie! On Thursday (April 23), it was revealed that the 36-year-old Eternity actor and the 31-year-old The Substance actress will be starring in the upcoming remake 1981 psychological horror movie Possession. Keep reading to find out more…The upcoming remake was revealed in an article published by Vanity Fair, which also revealed that the project caused a bidding war among major studios including A24, Netflix, Paramount, Sony, and Warner Bros. with Paramount ultimately securing the remake. Parker Finn, who is best known for creating the Smile franchise, is writing, directing, and producing the Possession remake. Directed by Andrzej Żuławski, Possession was first released in theaters back in 1981 starring Isabelle Adjani and Sam Neill. The horror flick revolved around a woman, Anna, who starts exhibiting increasingly disturbing behavior after asking her husband for a divorce. Suspicions of infidelity soon give way to something much more sinister. As of right now, plot details for the remake are being kept under wraps. Margaret will next be starring alongside Jacob Elordi and Josh Brolin in director Ridley Scott‘s new movie The Dog Stars, which hits theaters on August 28. Watch the trailer here!
