Peter Vaughan (Co-founder), Brad Brooks (Co-founder) and a team of talented alchemists have been crowdfunding boardgames since 2020, with hit games such as Flamecraft, Andromeda’s Edge and Critter Kitchen. They are now taking the next step and are self-releasing and distributing their new game Flamecraft Duals into retail for the first time.

Flamecraft Duals is a NEW puzzly, pattern-matching game for two players, set in the same world as Flamecraft with beautiful art by Sandara Tang. In this travel-friendly game, you will be drawing artisan dragon tokens from a bag, placing them and firing up their abilities, with the goal of getting them in the right patterns to score shop cards.

To help with their new venture they have a stellar team on board, with the incredible Nicole Cutler, Director of Operations. With a background that includes roles at Pandasaurus Games and Arcane Wonders, Nicole has over a decade of Operations experience within the board game industry. Additionally, they have just brought in Patrick Fitzgibbon as Hobby Retail Manager. He comes from over 7 years of sales experience at companies like Genius Games, Elf Creek Games, Greater than Games and most recently, Quartermaster Logistics.
Nicole says “It’s clear to see that Flamecraft fans have been eager for more from Flamecraft for quite some time, and they’re already welcoming Flamecraft Duals with open arms and rave reviews. The demand has far exceeded even our expectations — we’ve just moved forward on a third print run ahead of the official Jan 28th release date.”
Cardboard Alchemy is also excited to get Flamecraft Duals into the mass market too, and have already got the game onto the shelves of one of the biggest stores across America; Barnes and Noble! Launched in early January you can find Flamecraft Duals Standard Edition in Barnes and Noble stores!
