Every year on August 28th, the UAE celebrates Emirati Women’s Day; this special day honors the strength, hard work, and achievements of every Emirati woman. This special day was started in 2015 by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, who is known across the country as the “Mother of the Nation.” She has spent decades working to support, encourage, and empower women, and this day is a tribute to her lifelong mission.
