The 58-year-old “My Heart Will Go On” singer was greeted by crowds of fans as she arrived at the Royal Monceau hotel on Friday morning (August 28) in Paris, France.
Celine, who wore a beige trench coat and sunglasses, spent lots of time outside soaking up all the love from her fans.
“I’ve always felt supported from day one and it’s a story that keeps going,” Celine told BFM TV.
“It’s true that this is my second home,” she added. “I appreciate that you’re here, thank you very much.”
Celine announced back in March that she would be performing 16 concerts in a five-week limited engagement residency at the famed Paris La Défense Arena beginning on September 12.
The upcoming Paris residency marks Celine‘s return to the stage following her lengthy hiatus as she battled the incurable autoimmune disorder Stiff Person Syndrome, which she publicly disclosed in December 2022.
“I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I’m grateful to all of YOU!” Celine said as she announced the residency. “I love you all and I’ll see you soon!”
