The house of CHANEL has appointed Jacob Elordi as the new face of BLEU DE CHANEL. The actor steps into a role previously held by some of cinema’s most distinctive talents.
Elordi first drew wide attention as Nate Jacobs in Euphoria, a performance that established his capacity for difficult, layered characters. In 2023, he appeared in Saltburn and portrayed Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla. More recently, he starred in Justin Kurzel’s limited series The Narrow Road to the Deep North. His turn as the Creature in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He also played Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights opposite Margot Robbie.
Robbie previously worked with Elordi on See You at 5 (2024), a Luca Guadagnino short film created for the CHANEL N°5 global campaign. That project marked the first meeting between Elordi and Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, CHANEL’s Head of Global Creative Resources for Fragrance & Beauty.
“I had been following Jacob Elordi’s career for several years, since Euphoria,” du Pré de Saint Maur said. “I first met him on the set of the See You at 5 film for N°5, and it was a revelation. He perfectly embodies BLEU DE CHANEL: expressing freedom, mystery, magnetism, and a masculinity that blends modernity with a certain classic elegance.”
Elordi described the appointment as a continuation of the fragrance’s ties to cinema. “The filmmakers and actors who have collaborated with the House before me are people I deeply respect and admire,” he said. “Being able to become part of this story is an honor.”
The BLEU DE CHANEL L’EXCLUSIF campaign, directed by Elordi, will launch in May 2026.
