An R-rated Channing Tatum movie, known for its thrilling plot, is making its way to Amazon Prime Video soon. It originally premiered in theaters nearly two years ago and became a modest financial success.

Blink Twice, starring Channing Tatum, reportedly drops on Amazon Prime Video on May 23, 2026. Also slated for that day are Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar-winning One Battle After Another and Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1.

The film premiered at the DGA Theater on August 8, 2024, before releasing across the United States two weeks later on August 23. Following its premiere, it grossed roughly $48 million at the worldwide box office.

Zoë Kravitz helmed the psychological thriller, marking her directorial debut. She also co-wrote the screenplay with E.T. Feigenbaum and served as producer alongside Tatum, Bruce Cohen, Garret Levitz, and Tiffany Persons.

Blink Twice follows Frida, a cocktail waitress and animal-themed nail artist. Her life takes an unexpected yet dramatic turn one day when she meets billionaire tech mogul, Slater King, who has just resigned from his position as CEO of his company due to unspecified past behavior. King invites Frida and her friend Jess to his private island for a dream getaway, which they accept.

However, following their arrival, Frida and Jess, along with other attendees, begin experiencing strange situations that make the former two realize something is wrong with the island.

Blink Twice has garnered positive reviews from critics, reflected in its robust scores on review aggregators. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie holds a 74% “certified fresh” approval and a 71% audience score. Meanwhile, Metacritic has given it a 66 Metascore and a 6.4 user score, both of which denote “generally favorable” views.

In addition to Channing Tatum, the movie features Naomi Ackie, Alia Shawkat, Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Liz Caribel Sierra, Levon Hawke, Trew Mullen, Geena Davis, and Kyle MacLachlan. Additionally, Kravitz makes a cameo appearance as a stewardess.
