Charlize Theron is going to new heights to promote her new Netflix movie, APEX!

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress climbed a rock wall perched above Times Square on Friday afternoon (April 24) in New York City.

Charlize learned how to climb for the movie and she put those skills to the test for this real-life stunt. Crowds gathered on the streets of the city to watch as she scaled the wall, well above the ground level. You can watch a video below!

“Apex is streaming on Netflix right now, motherf–kers. Don’t make me climb a wall in Times Square for nothing!” Charlize shouted after reaching the top of the wall.

Here’s the logline for the film: A grieving woman testing her limits in the Australian wilderness is suddenly ensnared in a deadly game with a ruthless predator.

Also starring in the movie are Taron Egerton and Eric Bana. The film is now streaming on Netflix everywhere. Watch the trailer now!
