Charlize Theron is bringing together some major culinary talent for a special night in Malibu!

The Oscar-winning actress will host the opening night of the 2026 Malibu Food & Wine Festival on Friday, September 18 at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, Calif. The intimate dinner will benefit the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP), which works to advance the health, safety and opportunities of young people across Southern Africa.

Charlize will be joined by an all-star lineup of chefs including Andrew Zimmern, Bryan Voltaggio, Michael Voltaggio and festival co-founder Marcel Vigneron, with Marine Layer Wines founder Baron Ziegler serving as the featured vintner.

The evening will kick off with a cocktail reception featuring passed bites, live culinary demonstrations, a Jamón Ibérico carving station, espresso drinks, beer and live music. Guests will then sit down for a multi-course farm-to-table dinner with curated wine pairings.

The three-day Malibu Food & Wine Festival, co-founded by Marcel and Lauren Rae Levy, continues Saturday with an Italian Night hosted by Man v. Food star Adam Richman and featuring chefs including Mei Lin, Stephanie Izard, Tobias Dorzon, Jonathan Sawyer, Chris Oh, Rose Previte and Spike Mendelsohn.

Sunday wraps up the weekend with a family-friendly Country Cookout featuring Brian Malarkey, Carlos Anthony, Elizabeth Falkner, Lee Anne Wong, Matt Pittman, Rhoda Magbitang, Viet Pham and more. A portion of proceeds from the Saturday and Sunday events will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

Tickets for Charlize’s Friday night dinner are priced at $749 per person, while Saturday and Sunday general admission tickets start at $175.
