Chris Brown and Usher have canceled four upcoming shows on The R&B Tour, giving them a two-and-a-half week break from their busy touring schedule.

The singers launched their co-headlining tour back in June 2026 with a three-hour show that spanned more than 50 songs between the two artists. When the tour was announced, dates were scheduled through December, with even more dates added after initial success from the tour.

The four canceled shows in October 2026 were all added later.

Chris and Usher have canceled their shows in Baltimore, MD on October 17, Cincinnati, OH on October 24, Columbia, SC on October 29, and Indianapolis, IN on October 31.

Billboard notes that Chris has to go to the UK for a court date on October 26, for the sentencing in his nightclub assault case after he pleaded guilty to an “affray” charge.

So, why were the tour dates canceled?

An email was sent to ticketholders stating that the shows were canceled for the artists “health and well-being.”

“Following an extensive run of sold-out stadium shows on one of the year’s biggest tours, the event promoter has made the difficult decision to cancel select upcoming dates on the R&B Tour to prioritize the health and well-being of the touring party and crew. The demands of a tour of this length and scale are significant, and these adjustments will allow the tour to continue safely and sustainably through the remaining scheduled performances.”
