Christina Ricci is going viral for her response to a right-wing influencer named Emily Wilson.

The 46-year-old actress, who has earned Golden Globe, Emmy, and Screen Actors Guild nominations throughout her career, saw a post by her that criticized Democrats in a puzzling way.

Emily Wilson posted a selfie with the caption, “Post pilates cause fat chicks vote democrat 😎.”

Christina saw the post on Threads and wrote a direct response that is getting attention.

She replied, “I’m skinnier than you you asshole and I still vote democrat or as liberal as I can because there is more to life than being thin. What you contribute to this world is what matters, loser.”

Christina often responds to conservatives on the social media site. For example, just before she wrote the above comment, she responded to someone who said a woman’s place is to be a “godly wife and mother,” not a CEO or President. Christina‘s response? “F-k off.”

She then responded to Rep. Mark Harris who explained his support of ICE. Christina wrote back, “Let’s see some actual statistics about violent crime and who are the most prevalent and frequent offenders! Oh you don’t want to? Oh right bc the bulk of violent assaults in this country can be attributed to white straight men. My bad. You absolute disgrace for a human.”
