Today’s NYT Connections were tricky as several words could have been grouped in multiple ways. We ended up solving the Blue Category first, as it seemed quite obvious to us that those four words belonged to the same group.

Things got tougher after that. We erroneously tried to place BORE, SNORE, and TALK in the same group and struggled to find the fourth word, eventually deciding to go with DREAM. When that didn’t work out, we replaced BORE with DROOL and instantly realized that the fourth word is DREAM. After that, the remaining categories effectively solved themselves.
