Connie Britton is opening up about late Nashville co-star Hayden Panettiere‘s memorial service.
A few weeks ago, Connie, 59, was one of the roughly 150 guests that attended the celebration of life for Hayden, who passed away at the age of 36 in August.
Other Nashville cast members in attendance included Charles Esten, Lennon Stella and Jonathan Jackson. During the service, Connie and Charles both gave speeches honoring Hayden.

In her new cover story with People published on Tuesday (October 13), Connie shared some new details about the emotional service.
“We all just bawled,” Connie shared. “I’m finding solace and connection within the community of people who still remain.”
Also in her new interview, Connie reflected on her experience on set with Hayden when they filmed Nashville in Tennessee.

“I really was looking for my village when I moved there with my tiny baby, and I needed help,” Connie recalled, referring to her now 15-year-old son Yoby. “Every time Yoby was on set and Hayden was there, she’d just stop everything. Everything became about Yoby. It just felt like sweetness.”
Hayden‘s Heroes co-stars also recently reunited for another celebration honoring her life.
Keep up with all the developments involving Hayden Panettiere‘s passing.
