The newly released EP accompanies the original English stereo version of the song with translations in French (La Seul Qui T’aime), Japanese, Spanish (Linda Muchachita), German (Alle Jungen Leute), Italian (Baby), and Swedish (Sjunger På Svenska). More and more people continue to lip-sync on TikTok to the lyrics “You’ll be thinkin’ of me, and try to love me/ Pretty little baby, I’m hoping that you do,” and now creators the world over can put their own spins on it.

“Pretty Little Baby” first started gaining steam on social media in early May 2025, and it came rather unexpectedly considering that the track wasn’t even a single when it was first released on the 1962 album Connie Francis Sings Second Hand Love. But the song has experienced a truly staggering rise over the past few weeks, with Billboard reporting that streams for the song jumped 7,000% in the course of a month. The song has also debuted on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA and Global charts, indicating that it could even cross over into the Billboard Hot 100 before long.

Should it make that chart, it would be yet another feather in Conne Francis’ impressive cap. Francis was the first woman to ever top the Hot 100, eventually doing so three times with her songs “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool,” “My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own,” and “Don’t Break the Heart That Loves You.” In the late 1950s and early 1960s, she landed 15 top 10 hits, which, along with her starring film roles in the same years, cemented Francis as an icon of the soda fountain era.

Listen to the international versions of the Connie Francis smash “Pretty Little Baby” now.
