Dan Levy Shares What Gives Him 'Great Comfort' After Catherine O'Hara's Death

Dan Levy is opening up about Catherine O’Hara‘s death.

If you did not see the tragic news, the Emmy-winning actress died at the age of 71 on January 30 “after a brief illness.”

While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (March 31), the 42-year-old actor, who starred alongside Catherine on Schitt’s Creek, shared the one he’s found “comfort” in following her death.

Keep reading to find out more…“Listen, it’s like a collective loss, I think,” Dan said. “She was the greatest. She’s irreplaceable.”

“The great comfort for me has just been to see how loved she was, you know what I mean?” he continued. “The outpouring. Everyone felt like they kind of knew her.”

Jimmy then described Catherine as “one of the funniest comedians I’ve ever seen. Can do characters … Gorgeous.”

“Unbelievably talented at improvising,” Dan added. “One of the great, great, great, great queens.”

Along with Schitt’s Creek, Catherine was also known for her roles in Home Alone, Beetlejuice, Best in Show, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Studio.
