Daniel Stern will no longer be starring in the new ABC comedy pilot Do You Want Kids?.

After he was officially charged on Monday (January 12) with one misdemeanor count of soliciting prostitution, the 68-year-old actor, best known for playing Marv in Home Alone, has exited the upcoming TV project.

Keep reading to find out more…According to Deadline, ABC will be recasting the series-regular role, which Daniel signed on for in December 2025.

If you didn’t see, Ventura County law enforcement issued Daniel a citation for allegedly soliciting prostitution on December 10. Police say the incident took place at a hotel in Camarillo, Calif.

He was not taken into custody or booked, and no mug shot was released. Authorities confirmed he was cited and released at the scene.
