On August 26, 2025, we gathered at the historic Welch Medical Library to celebrate a milestone moment for Johns Hopkins Medicine: the dedication of the Benjamin Leon, Jr. Directorship of the Surgical Learning and Innovation Center of Excellence, and the installation of Dr. Ahmed Ghazi as its inaugural director.
