2025 Golden Globes: Selena Gomez Reveals the Biggest Misconceptions About Her

No, you’re not watching Disney channel.

Instead, you’re seeing Miley Cyrus, Zendaya and Selena Gomez—some of the biggest stars to come from the network—all attend the 2025 Golden Globes together.

But instead of nominations for Hannah Montana, Shake It Up or Wizards of Waverly Place, the three stars—as well as Nickelodeon alum Ariana Grande—are nominated for their work in some of this year’s best films and TV shows.

For Miley’s part, the 32-year-old is nominated in the Best Original Song, Motion Picture for The Last Showgirl’s “Beautiful That Way.” For the occasion, Miley stepped out in a Y2K-inspired look, proving that when it comes to her fashion sense as well as her music skills, she’s got the best of both worlds. Zendaya, meanwhile, is nominated for her role as Tashi Duncan in Challengers in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category. She’s nominated alongside actresses Amy Adams (Nightbitch), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Demi Moore (The Substance), Karla Sofìa Gascón (Emilia Pérez) and Mikey Madison (Anora).

For her second Golden Globe nomination—she was previously nominated and won for her work in Euphoria—Zendaya served up a red carpet ace in a gorgeous, rust-colored gown as she channeled old-school Hollywood glam.

And finally, Selena dressed to impress as walked into a big night. Not only did the 32-year-old earn her third nomination for her work in Only Murders in the Building—in which she stars with Steve Martin and Martin Short—but she also earned her first film nomination for her role in Emilia Pérez, alongside her costar Zoe Saldana.

While Selena didn't pose for photos, her sky-blue, classically elegant look could be seen inside the ceremony. But in addition to the diamond necklace and elegant bob she donned, the Rare Beauty founder had the perfect accessory in her plus one, fiancé Benny Blanco, who complemented his partner for life in a white suit.

Following her nominations and ahead of the Jan. 5 event, Selena shared what her two nominations meant to her.

In addition to sharing her pride for her "Only Murders fam," Selena added of her film nomination on her Instagram Story, "I don't even know what to write... I'm so proud of @ZoeSaldana and I am so grateful and honored @goldenglobes."

She added in a statement, "I am truly grateful and humbled to be nominated for two different projects that mean the world to me. This recognition inspires me and motivates me to work even harder. Couldn’t be prouder of my Emilia Pérez and Only Murders family."
