Donald Trump‘s doctor is speaking out after the President’s new neck rash created headlines. While taking part in the Medal of Honor Ceremony on Monday (March 2) at the White House in Washington, DC, Trump, 79, was seen with a rash-like discoloration on the right side of his neck below his ear. It’s not completely visible as his shirt collar is blocking some of what can be seen. After the rash received a lot of media attention, Trump‘s doctor released a statement explaining the cause. Keep reading to find out more…Trump‘s personal physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella told CNN that the neck rash is the result of a cream that the President’s using as a “preventative skin treatment.” “President Trump is using a very common cream on the right side of his neck, which is a preventative skin treatment,” Dr. Barbabella said in a statement. “The President is using the treatment for one week, and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks.” The doctor did not specify why Trump needed the skin treatment and the White House has not yet publicly addressed his condition. This is not the first time Trump‘s skin has caught the attention of the public. He has often displayed hand bruising over the past few months. The White House has routinely blamed this on his shaking hands with people.
