Dua Lipa turns 30 today, and she took this milestone birthday as an opportunity to relax, play, and explore Jamaica with boyfriend Callum Turner. It sounds like a pretty perfect way to wind down one's twenties, made even more perfect by an absolutely mesmerizing manicure that made it into some of the singer's photo memories of her trip.

Lipa posted an enviable carousel of vacation slides to Instagram on August 21, showing how she went snorkeling, ate local fruit, relaxed with a book (Lipa loves to read), and generally enjoyed the beauty of Jamaica. The most adorable slides show how she helped baby sea turtles make their first trek to the ocean, and in the second photo, you can see she even gave a couple of the little guys a close-up look at her amazing manicure by nail artist Michelle Humphrey.

If you've been paying attention to celebrity manicures, you know that polka dot nails are having a moment. But Lipa, ever the nail-art lover, reinvented the spotty look with what Humphrey is calling the “molten bubble orb mani.”

“It's a playful clash of contrasting colors layered with blooming gel to create that dreamy diffused effect, and then topped with a mix of silver beads and bubble aura beads for fun and dimension,” Humphrey tells Allure. She started the psychedelic design with a base mix of high-impact shades like bright yellow, fiery red, dark blue, deep green, and opaque nude. Then, she created a variety of patterns over the nails in various shades. “Some nails had additional colors layered on top for even more impact. The look was completed using a jewelry gel to secure the aurora bubble beads and molten silver beads for that dimensional bubble orb effect.”
