The epic trailer for Dune: Part Three is finally here! The third movie was once again directed by Denis Villeneuve.

The film stars Timothee Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, Robert Pattinson as Scytale, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, and Issach De Bankole as Farok. There are some cast changes coming for movie #3 as well.

The trailer has a time jump 17 years into the future!

As for the future of the film franchise, the posters released tease that this is going to be “The Epic Conclusion” to the Dune trilogy. If you are not aware, the first two movies combined grossed over $1 billion at the worldwide box office!

Dune: Part Three is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026 and is based on Frank Herbert’s book “Dune Messiah.” In the novel, Paul “Muad’Dib” Atreides has ruled as Emperor for 12 years. By accepting the role of messiah to the Fremen, he has unleashed a jihad which has conquered most of the known universe, but is powerless to stop the lethal excesses of the religious juggernaut he has created.
