Dwight Howard has filed for divorce from his wife Amber Howard.

The NBA champion filed on Monday (March 9) morning, listing their marriage date as January 11, 2025 and noting that they were not separated, with no hope of reconciliation as he says their marriage is “irretrievably broken,” reports TMZ.

He also wants exclusive usage of his Georgia mansion.

This news comes after Amber, better known as Amy Luciani, went viral for posting a video on Instagram Live in which she accused Dwight of drug addiction and claimed Child Protective Services removed his daughter from their home.

Dwight and the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star do not have children together, but the former Orlando Magic player has five children from previous relationships.

Amy previously filed for divorce in July 2025, six months after they married, but she eventually called it off.
