Ellen Pompeo and Rebecca Gayheart appear to be having lunch together!

The Grey’s Anatomy star and the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress were seen leaving the same restaurant in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Friday (March 20).

The outing comes about one month after the death of Eric Dane, who Rebecca remained legally married to despite the fact they actually separated in 2018. But they co-parented and remained close friends until Eric‘s passing.

Ellen has spoken before about Eric and his battle with ALS and now it seems like she is reaching out to Rebecca during a difficult time.

For their outing, Ellen wore a black jumpsuit and sunglasses, complete with a black leather belt, a black Hermès handbag, and tennis shoes. Rebecca was wearing a white shirt, Adidas sweatpants, sneakers, and a black hat with sunglasses.

Rebecca also made her first public appearance since Eric’s death earlier this March at the premiere of The Drama. She attended with daughters Billie and Georgia, who she shares with Eric.

Additionally, she has spoken out about Eric‘s AI voice charity project that he was working on before he died.

Many Grey’s Anatomy stars paid tribute to the “McSteamy” actor after he passed.
