Eric Roberts is opening about his relationship with younger sister Julia Roberts.

The 69-year-old actor made rare comments on his 58-year-old actress sibling during a new podcast interview, shutting down rumors of a rift between them.

“It’s not true — it never was true. We’re fine,” he said on the It Happened in Hollywood podcast. “We have disagreements, as people do, but we like and respect each other very much.”

“She’s a wonderful actor, she’s a wonderful human. I think she’s even a wonderful mother — that’s the hardest job there is,” he added. “So, you know, she’s a cool chick and I like her.”

He also shared that they have occasionally had things here and there, as most siblings do, but they don’t fight over anything serious.

“The only issues we have are like day-to-day disagreements on whatever, but it’s not a thing,” Eric shared. “I like my sister very much. I’m impressed with her wonderful career. And she’s got three kids — she’s a mom, dude!”

Just a couple years ago, Eric issued a public apology to Julia after making comments about her in his memoir, “Runaway Train,” saying it was “asinine” to say there would be no Julia Roberts without him.

He also recently addressed on his personal struggles when daughter Emma Roberts was born, who he has said in his memoir that he still isn’t a father figure to her.
