Fox Orders Two Seasons of 'Family Guy' Spinoff 'Stewie' with Seth MacFarlane

Fox is preparing to give Family Guy fans another show to look forward to!

The network has picked up two seasons of an animated spinoff titled Stewie that will premiere during the 2027-2028 television season with next-day streaming on Hulu and international streaming on Disney+ as is the case with most of their catalog.

According to Variety, Seth MacFarlane will return to voice the popular character and executive produce. He also co-created the show with Kirker Butler.

The official synopsis reads, “After getting the boot from his old preschool, Stewie is forced to enroll in a new one that’s not exactly top-of-the-line. “I’d like to thank Fox for this incredible opportunity, and I’m excited to start pretending I’m collaborating closely with them on the show,” Seth said in a statement.

While it looks like Family Guy still has plenty of life left in it, Seth did recently share some unfortunate news about the future of his Peacock series Ted.
