“The Nanny” became a massive pop-culture phenomenon during its six-season run from 1993 to 1999.

It chronicled the hilarious culture clash between a flashy cosmetics saleswoman-turned nanny from Queens and wealthy British Broadway producer, Maxwell Sheffield.

The series was created by Drescher and her ex-husband and was heavily inspired by her own life – right down to naming her hilarious on-screen parents, Sylvia and Morty.

It earned an impressive 12 Emmy nominations during its run on TV, taking home a very fitting win for Outstanding Costuming in 1995 thanks to Fran Fine’s unforgettable outfits.
