Frankie Muniz recently took to social media to share a new photo of him and his TV brothers reuniting for the upcoming Malcolm in the Middle revival series.

Who is in the Malcolm in the Middle revival photo?

In a photo on X, Muniz shared a photo of himself, Justin Berfield, and Christopher Kennedy Masterson, who play Malcolm’s brothers Reese and Francis in the show, respectively. Muniz joked that he wasn’t supposed to be sharing photos, but couldn’t help himself due to his excitement and how he missed his “brothers.”

I was told not to post this yet, but then I remembered the theme song. I'm just too excited for y'all to see the new episodes and I miss my brothers. pic.twitter.com/LT2aXgsAOK

One face that was notably absent from the photo was Erik Per Sullivan, who played the role of Dewey, Malcolm’s youngest brother. Sullivan won’t be returning for the show, as he’s busy pursuing his Master’s degree at Harvard University and, according to Bryan Cranston, has no interest in acting anymore.

The upcoming reboot, titled Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, will see Malcolm reuniting with his family for Hal and Lois’ 40th wedding anniversary. The official logline reads: “Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) and his daughter are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.”

Alongside Muniz, Berfield, and Masterson, the series will also see several stars returning, including Jane Kaczmarek as Lois, Bryan Cranston as Hal, Emy Coligado as Piama, Franci’s wife, and more. Newcomers to the series include Caleb Ellsworth-Clark as Dewey, Anthony Timpano as Jamie, Hal and Lois’s fifth child, Vaughan Murrae, Keeley Karsten, Kiana Madeira, Craig Lamar Traylor, David Anthony Higgins, and Gary Anthony Williams.

Linwood Boomer is returning as the reboot’s writer and executive producer, with Cranston serving as one of the executive producers. Ken Kwapis is set to direct all four episodes and will serve as executive producer.
