The investigators in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case have discovered DNA at her home that does not belong to her or people close to her.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has released some new details about the DNA and some gloves that were found nearby.

ABC News reports that “several gloves were found,” including one as close as 2 miles from the house. No gloves were found in the house though, despite reports.

“Reports that a glove was found inside the residence or on the property are inaccurate,” the sheriff’s department said.

The department also commented on the DNA.

“DNA other than Nancy Guthrie’s and those in close contact to her has been collected from the property,” the sheriff’s department said in the statement. “Investigators are working to identify who it belongs to. We are not disclosing where that DNA was located.”

TMZ has noted that family members are all cooperating with the investigation, but no one has been cleared as innocent as of this time.

Another update we received today was that there’s an individual claiming to know the identity of the kidnapper and they’re only willing to talk to communicate with TMZ as they don’t trust law enforcement.
