PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayHere's a general description of this 1-5 player game:
Terror is in the eye of the beholder! Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons will not only set players against four of the classic role-playing game's most fearsome foes, but will also introduce new gameplay elements inspired by the mechanisms of D&D, including the use of a 20-sided die.
Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons features gameplay elements familiar to players of other games in the series: Players work together to face monsters and puzzle-like obstacles to gather item tokens, protect citizens, and avoid attacks. Unique and thematic challenges for each monster further immerse players into the detailed setting and story.

Ravensburger has not revealed the three non-beholder monsters that will be included in the design, but it does note that the monster challenges in this game are designed by Peter Lee, who was behind the original Horrified game system, with the first title in that line now being referred to as Horrified: Universal Monsters to match the format of subsequent releases.
▪️ In terms of other D&D-based board games, I've previously covered Dungeons & Dragons: Builders of Baldur's Gate, a 2-5 player city-building game from Matthew Dunstan that WizKids has scheduled for June 2025, but WizKids has another release along these lines due out in that same month — Dungeons & Dragons: Edge of the Realms.
Here's an overview of this 2-5 player game from Phil Walker-Harding:
Every adventure needs a good map!
In Dungeons & Dragons: Edge of the Realms, you are explorers in the Forgotten Realms who will discover new terrain and magical places to prepare your adventurer's journey, but everyone else is roaming the lands at the same time, so think fast.
On a turn, everyone draws a map card into their hand, then they choose and reveal one at the same time. Check to see whether you've completed quests and score points, then pass your hand to the left and play a new turn. Along the way, you want to match up terrain, activate landmarks, visit cities, and (of course) fulfill quests.
A beholder awaits behind every corner
After fifteen turns, you'll have a completed map ready for adventure, and the explorer who's netted the most points wins.
