Myra Molloy and Maya da Costa are starring in the newly released trailer for the upcoming film adaptation Girls Like Girls!

The forthcoming movie is based on the New York Times Bestselling novel of the same name by Hayley Kiyoko, who also serves as director and co-wrote the script with “Girls Like Girls” music video star Stefanie Scott.

Girls Like Girls will also feature new, original music by Hayley, and is “a heartfelt coming-of-age story set over the course of one sun-drenched summer, where new-girl-in-town Coley (da Costa) falls in love for the first time while learning to accept herself along the way.”

Also starring in the movie are Levon Hawke and Zach Braff.

Wicked producer Marc Platt and BuzzFeed Studios’ Richard Alan Reid are among the producers on the upcoming film.
